Systemic Racism Pin

François Legault refuses to admit that systemic racism exists in Quebec. So, Amnesty International decided to put the issue on the map. Literally. Right in his own backyard, in front of Parliament. Bypassing the conventional rules of Google Maps, we created a pinned geolocation that became the heart of our campaign. Photos of the location in Google Maps were replaced with educational content and testimonials from activists. The Opinions section allowed Quebecers to express themselves and flood the platform with their comments and experiences.  As a result of this initiative, systemic racism became an important issue in the provincial election, leading to some major changes in the province.
